Master Cho Han-You, the school master, is an admirable instructor whose background as a Korean Special Forces officer/soldier brings a unique depth to his teaching. He doesn’t just focus on Taekwondo techniques, but also incorporates Mixed Martial Arts, giving students a well-rounded skill set. He strikes the perfect balance between being strict and kind, always pushing for both mental and physical enrichment. His blend of traditional (ITF) and modern (WT/Kukkiwon) Taekwondo techniques (for pattern/forms) ensures that every student develops a broad and versatile foundation.
For an instructor who advocates physical fitness - You should see his physique- indeed he practices what he preaches!
His guidance is perfectly complemented by Master Jo Ki-Hoon, whose keen eye helps oversee each student’s progress. Master Jo excels in WT/Olympic-style sparring instruction, offering valuable insights and helping students refine their techniques to a high standard.
What sets Han Taekwondo apart is that it’s more than just a path to earning a black belt. The training has made me more physically agile, flexible, and significantly improved my cardiovascular fitness and balance—no small feat for a middle-aged Ajusshi like me!

Sharing as a student who went from white belt in Oct 2022 to 1st dan black belt in Oct 2024. The instructors are attentive and adept in teaching, and they will adapt training to your capabilities. You can feel free to train as hard as you want because the guidance is excellent and your effort will reward you. Will continue training here in the future 💪👍
