Coffee is decent. But the blueberry scone was gummy, with no blueberry taste. It may look a little ‘blue’ but that’s all it is. Given miserable thin pieces of butter. You could hardly butter your thumb adequately. Server was grumpy (not the first time). I enquired if the pastry and americano set (displayed on the counter) included the scone as a choice, and was informed only the perfect pairing (cake) set is available. But the cabinet case is full of pastries? (Maybe it’s only available in the morning? He didn’t elaborate). Almost no back support chairs available, 90% stools.
I’d recommend going to Millinea walk and Kallang leisure mall outlet for better service.

I have been to a few Joe & Dough outlets such as the one at DUO Gallerja and Millenia Walk, and honestly the service here is slightly less than what I experienced at the other outlets. Coffee was good with a nice latte arté!!! However the scone was not very well presented, I also preferred the scone to be drier than the moist one they served.

Not so crowded Saturday late morning but short of manpower, so the place was quite dirty.
Scrambled eggs was tasteless, croissant doesn’t have butter taste.
Coffee was ok.

Food (3.5/5): Ordered a Mushroom Melt on Brioche. Description: Sauteed mushrooms topped with mozzarella on a brioche toast, served with mixed greens
The presentation is much cleaner as compared to what is captured on the pictures, i.e. the photo of the dish on the menu shows it being presented on a wooden board with its own paper wrapping. The photo also shows it oozing with mozzarella, but in reality, its portion is tiny in comparison. Sautéed mushrooms contain some pepper as well (which was not stated on the menu).
Atmosphere (3.5/5): Visited at 11am on a weekend morning. There were always some tables uncleared during my 45 minutes visit - the outlet is understaffed. Even when a staff came over to help clear a table for us (the rest were occupied), she appeared overwork and did everything super hurriedly. Nothing to shout about in the surrounding shops. Somewhat noisy - as there are many families with children visiting the mall too (outer noise coming into the outlet).
Value-for-money (3/5): Not really in my humble opinion. Paid close to 10$ for what I felt as a sub-par experience.

Super crowded on a raining Sunday morning, crew overwhelmed with fully packed seats but barrister still took trouble to serve drinking water despite not regular service item.
Food were generally good except portion wanting, accompanied toast was thinly sliced 🤨

There are not many options if you find yourself at the stadium around 9am to 10am. Joe & Dough is definitely one option since it opens at 8am!
Nice clean and spacious joint for you to work from. Do note most cafe have a 1 HR restriction due to COVID but some may close an eye 😉
What to eat?
Coffee and garlic butter cheese Danish
Some brownies
See attached menu

Like that the banana chocolate cake is not that sweet. Hot choco is also nice.. Tho i prefer it to be a little bit hotter. There’s an oatmilk version of the drink

I usually enjoy visiting this establishment for its delicious latte and mac and cheese. The coffee and most menu items are consistently excellent. However, my experience today was disappointing.
I decided to try the Teriyaki Garlic Cream Pasta, but unfortunately, the chicken was not fresh, which affected the overall flavor of the dish. Even after avoiding the chicken, the pasta itself had an unpleasant taste likely due to its preparation alongside the chicken.
Additionally, I’ve noticed that one of the servers tends to provide portions smaller than expected, which can be a bit disheartening given the usual quality of service.
Despite today’s experience, I appreciate the quality of the coffee and other menu offerings and hope these concerns can be addressed to maintain the high standards I’ve come to expect here.

We ordered hazelnut latte, ice latte and mocca. Love all of them. We also ordered gula malacca pandan cake which give a nice unique malaysian taste. My kid ordered mac & cheese which they really love it.
The ambience is also ok with a very stylish bali vibe.
