Nice restaurant with reasonable pricing and comes with free flow of side dishes. The kimchi pork soup is cooked on the sour side and tasty. A little spicy but is ok. The ginseng chicken soup is good. Generous chicken meat. Overall good experience with decent food on the first day of 2024.

Was expecting some non-standard korean offerings with little portions but they exceeded my expectations. Portions were bigger than in pictures and food were good. Free flow kimchi and a few side dishes. Side dishes- Just like how i like it in korean. The beef mini stew was great. The kimchi pancake too. The ice lemon tea has surprising jelly bits inside. Yummy !

I have tried the lunch set meal here at Seoul Yummy when I have dined solo. But because it was the school holidays, my daughter and I went on a lunch date, so we tried the buddy meal. At $34.80 (before taxes), it was a good deal.
I tried the army stew with spam and cheese. It was just spicy and came with spam and sausages. Generous amount of cheese on top of a bed of ramyeon. It was just okay for me. My daughter had the bulgogi beef with rice. The portion was generous and my daughter enjoyed it. It was a tad sweet for my liking. For our buddy meal, we chose the pork dumplings. On top of that we had a glass of ice lemon tea each.
Taste wise, it is just ok. But they are generous with the portions and the buddy meal is a good deal. For quick fix Korean, we won’t mind going back. But for good Korean, I’d go somewhere else.

Love this Korean eating place :-)
There is a mini bar serving free flow Kimchi & other small dishes 🫢
We ordered a salad that only costs $6+ & another army stew as our main course. The portion is good & we were both full 😋😋
If you are going in a group, can order their bundle deal that is more worthwhile!
Staff are friendly & quick in responding to customers’ requests.
Will come again!

Good Korean food at decent price. The banchan is okay and refillable as is the barley tea. The boneless fried chicken was very well made, the spicy sauce was flavorful. The hot stone dishes are nicely done too with the food staying hot for a long time. The tteokbokki and army stew are okay. Service was fast and efficient.

I was seated and was asked to move to accommodate for a group of six. I was alright as I have just started to look at the menu. The service crew came to thank me while I was eating and she served me a complimentary buckwheat tea. The food taste good. Hotstone Bibimbab was served hot and the bulgogi beef was well marinated and it was easy to chew, without the many layers of fats. The fizzy fruits punch was sourish and it added a different flavour to the savoury Korean Ramyeon. The buddy meal is suitable for a pax of three.

Decent Lunch Spot with Room for Improvement
I recently visited this restaurant for the second time, and my experience was a mix of ups and downs. My first visit left me underwhelmed due to a not-so-pleasant herbal chicken soup, but I decided to give it another chance.
👅 Taste: On my second visit, I opted for the Bulgogi Beef Set lunch, priced at $20 after taxes, which included the meat and rice, along with a potato pancake on the side. The beef set offered a generous portion and tasted decent, an improvement from my last visit. The potato pancake was a delightful fusion of Korean and Swiss cuisine, making it a unique and tasty choice. Additionally, the restaurant offers a corner for unlimited side dishes, with kimchi, cucumber, and beansprouts available, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
🍽️ Ambience: The restaurant can get a bit crowded during peak hours, but overall, it maintains an alright ambience that suits lunchtime dining. Despite the crowd, it remains an ideal place for a casual lunch.
⭐️ Service: The service was friendly, though somewhat inconsistent. While I received my set lunch promptly, my colleague experienced a 20-minute delay, likely due to their order being forgotten. This aspect certainly needs attention.
⭐️ Prices: The price point is reasonable, especially if you go for their set lunches. Considering the generous portions and the option for unlimited side dishes, it offers fair value for money.
Overall, my second visit was a decent dining experience, marked by tasty food and a good selection of side dishes. However, there's room for improvement in service consistency and managing peak hour crowds better.
In conclusion, this restaurant is a decent option for lunch, offering a nice variety of dishes and an interesting mix of cuisines. With a few adjustments, especially in service delivery, it has the potential to be a great go-to spot for lunch in the area.
