I visited in May on a weekday evening about 6pm and only 2 tables were taken up. The fried rice and drink was very ordinary. It’s like food court or hawker centre. Nothing special. Disappointing. They can’t survive long with this kinda standard.

Order 1 pot porridge, 1 claypot fried rice, prawn paste chicken mid -joints. Porridge is still acceptable, fried rice more t like fried grain, partial rice grain not cooked , prwn paste chicken, firget anout it , totally not worth, frozen chicken , and not prep well , flavour not there

A1 Restaurant at Kallang Wave Mall is one of my go-to spots for comfort food like their signature fried mee suah and dried scallop chicken porridge—both are flavourful and satisfying. The SG60 Special Platter for two ($13.80++) is a great appetiser option, offering generous portions and delicious variety. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere. Service is friendly and efficient, with food arriving within a reasonable waiting time. Definitely worth a return visit!

Decently good set meal of 4 items at $38.8++, but doesn’t include rice. We ordered 2 rice and 2 drinks, added up about $58 for 2 person. food is decently good, and portion is enough for 2-3 person. You can add on a fried rice or porridge at $9.8++

Crowded on Saturday evening, there was a short queue for tables. Food choices were quite limited (Signature). Quality tastes above average for Chinese seafood. Service was prompt and accurate although they were quite short-handed. Environment was clean and serviceable.

We dined at A-One Signature on a Saturday evening with our group of seven, including a toddler, and were pleasantly surprised to find no wait. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a slim gentleman in glasses who offered outstanding service. He seated us with consideration for easy movement for our elderly members and even allowed us to use nearby vacant tables to store our belongings for added comfort. We were checking the reviews beforehand to check what's good from the menu and we were surprised by the average rating of around 3.3 stars, as our experience was definitely better than that. The service we received and the food was above our expectations. Despite being a quieter evening with only four tables occupied, including ours, the restaurant truly deserved more patrons. Sometimes, it's a pleasant surprise when a place with mediocre ratings turns out to be a hidden gem. We ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were flavorful and offered at good value. We enjoyed everything so much that we polished off every plate, even with a generous amount of food ordered for six adults. I’m giving A-One Signature a 5 stars rating, as it certainly deserves a higher score and more recognition.
