Enjoyed coming to this outlet even though on weekends, there's a long wait. They launched a new series of Taro drinks, my mum especially enjoyed the Taro tea series, 2nd time drinking it. Please see picture.

this outlet seems overwhelmed especially when there’s events. ordered 2 drinks during yoasobi weekend and we waited for 50 MINUTES ✨ had to down the drink so fast because concert was starting. order at your own risk :’)

This place is very popular and always busy, but the queue usually moves quite quickly. The drinks taste great. However, today I came at a time when there was no staff at the front counter. Since I was paying with cash, I couldn’t place an order at the machine and had to wait a long time without anyone noticing me. All the staff seemed busy making drinks, and I didn’t want to interrupt them, so I just stood there waiting for quite a while until someone finally came to take my order. I understand that it’s a busy shop, but I think it would be helpful if staff could occasionally check the front counter for waiting customers. It didn’t feel right to have to shout for attention. Having a bell or a button to call staff might help. I’m not sure if there’s one already that I just didn’t see, but I tried looking and couldn’t find any. Overall, everything else is great—I just hope this issue can be improved.

Dear Chicha San Chen Team, I am writing to share a deeply disappointing experience I had at one of your outlets in Singapore, Kallang Wave Mall recently, in the hope that it can be addressed appropriately. The timing of the incident was 2.50 pm on 31st July 2025. The name of the server is ELIM . I have attached the receipt and the name tag of server As I approached the counter with my daughter, I noticed there was no one attending it, so I politely asked if anyone was available to take an order. Although there were several staff members busy preparing drinks, one lady eventually approached the counter. However, instead of a courteous greeting, I was met with an unwelcoming and abrupt “Yeah, what do you want?” She then asked me to “hurry up” in an impatient tone. I placed an order for a fresh milk bubble tea with ice for my daughter. Shortly after, I realized I wanted to reduce the amount of ice and politely requested this adjustment. What happened next was quite shocking and unlike anything I’ve experienced in any F&B outlet. The server handed me the drink with a spoon and told me, “You can take out the ice yourself — it’s not in my SOP.” Not only was this dismissive and unprofessional, but it also caused unnecessary inconvenience and mess. As a customer, I did not expect to be asked to manually remove the ice from a drink I just purchased, simply because the team was unwilling to make a small change. I fully understand that there may be operational procedures in place, but there is a basic standard of courtesy and customer care that must be upheld, especially in a family-friendly setting like yours. This experience has left both my daughter and me frustrated and disappointed. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and that your team can review internal service protocols and training to ensure that future interactions are handled with more care and professionalism.

Was a big fan of their fresh milk black tea series. Now I'm in love with their Taro Milk Tea + Taro Bubble 50% sugar. There's orh nee in it and the Taro bubbles is very chewy. Everything goes so well and it's so perfect!!

Chole at this Kallang Wave Mall store is very friendly and helpful. She was good with her recommendation. The taro milk tea with taro bubbles taste good. Quite similar to the one I had in Zhunan (Taiwan). I loved it so much that I have it daily while in Zhunan. Loving it, thanks

Greeted by friendly staff who patiently explained the combination of products. They also let you try or smell the tea leaves before deciding. We settle on hot black teas with oat milk. No jellies. 50% sugar (can be reduced to 25%). The teas are light and fragrant. They taste like they are from a tea house. Very nice. The cassia black tea has a slight herbal or Chai tea taste, too. Any milk will probably mask the tea, but it balances out the effects of the tea on my stomach, so I took it with milk. Quality is worth the price. Seating is limited in the cafe, so be prepared to stand or take away.

Notice a nice Taiwanese bubble tea outlet. 2nd time trying out this brand. Different outlet. Each cup is individually brewed. Ordered from the kiosk next to the ordering counter. Choice of tea is pretty nice and a big fan of oolong and green tea. Smooth and fragrant as I ordered the mountainous blend. Zero sugar with pearls. As the pearls came sweet, the concoction is great. Service is fast and the packaging is unique. Less plastic and you can actually save the flax string for other purposes. This outlet is spacious and bright.

Best bubble tea I’ve had. Really can taste the quality of the tea, and the tea is the star, rather than all the other flavouring of many other bubble ‘tea’ places. Long wait. But worth it for the quality IMHO.
